Literary Tourism: International Kolkata Book Fair '2025
International Kolkata Book Fair - is one of the largest international book fair of estern India in the state of West Bengal. West Bengal is very rich in literature heritage and culture conservation. The Noble Laureate and world's renowned poet Rabindranath Tagore hails from the same state. Kolkata is capital of West Bengal state in India. This book fair is visited by a large number of book lovers and publishers from all over the world. Books of different genres, different languages at one place.
Literary tourism has emerged as an important type of tourism for the last two decades. The role of logistics and supply chain management has played a very important role in the development of literary tourism for book lovers and literature lovers around the world. Event management companies have contributed a lot in this regard. Literary tourism not only promotes literature of various genres and languages including old scriptures and epics but also promotes cultural tourism and tourism gastronomy.
