Andaman and Nicobar is a collections of hundreds of islands which is beautiful and tempting. It is home of six different tribes - 'Negrito' tribes – the Great Andamanese, Onge, Jarawa, Sentinelese, 'Mongoloid' tribes – the Shompen, and Nicobarese. Most of the tribes lives away from modern population in indigenous style except Jarwas, Nicobarese and the great Andamanese. These tribes are believed to have arrived from Africa, Burma and other parts of the world. Negrito tribes are believe to have arrived from Africa around sixty thousand years ago. Most of the tribes are normadic hunters, gatherers, and catching fish with bow and arrows. Many islands are restricted for otsiders includes visitors and tourists.
There are number of beautiful islands and wonderful beaches in the Andman, such as Ross Island, Viper Island, Coral Island, Havelock Island, Baratang Island, Neil Island and Barren Island are common. Barren Island has still active volcano that one must see. Coral Island have beautiful and colourful Corals and Havelock Island has white sand with clear blue water. Similarly each island have something unique to offer to the tourists.
A good number of hotel and resort accommodations are available in addition to food joints. People from mainland India, who migrated during colonial era and afterwards are mostly settled in the Port Blair(capital city), Mayabandar and other islands. Many of them are in tourism business and even runs their hotels, resorts, souvenir shops, food joints and also working as tourist guide.
